'Terrieres' offers high quality self catering holiday rental accommodation just 28km from Perigueux on the edge of the village of Cerveillac in the Dordogne.
The cottage is built of local golden stone and has been completely restored to offer spacious and comfortable accommodation with two bathrooms and three bedrooms. Full details of the house are overleaf.
Cerveillac (or Serveillac) is a hamlet of about twelve houses and farms and is typical of this very pastoral, wooded and peaceful area of the Dordogne. The area immediately surrounding the village offers superb country walking in beautiful countryside with meandering country lanes, meadows rich in wildflowers and extensive oak forests which are home to deer and wild boar. Above, a wide variety of birds including red kites and buzzards roam the skies.
The village is on a road to nowhere in particular so there is very little traffic making for an extremely peaceful environment where you can enjoy good views in all directions and experience the wonderful pace of life in rural France.
